Festival of the Arts, Day 2: Rojo Art
Festival of the Arts, Day 2: Rojo Art visited the whole school, and led the students through 2 workshops
The students were introduced to 'the wardrobe'. Full of interesting items to find, touch and talk about, each class will be using the wardrobe as inspiration for story writing.
The whole school have started creating pieces of art which will be included in a large installation for the school hall.
For example, Year 4 have been printing using sliced up potatoes and paint! And then creating origami butterflies. And Year 6 have been creating their own intricate stamps, and then using rolled on ink to print their designs.
Using the donated picture frames for the final piece, it is sure to be a lasting icon of the school!
