Julie Southgate, Co-opted Governor

I have been associated with Guildhall Feoffment School for many years, since both of my daughters were pupils at the School. I have been a Governor since 2004, initially as a Staff Governor, before becoming a Co-opted Governor. I enjoy serving on the Governing Board and have always been committed to supporting the Head teacher and Staff, so that an excellent standard of education can be delivered to the pupils. I have been employed by the school as a Mid-Day Supervisor and then as a Teaching Assistant, until my retirement in 2018. I feel that my experience of working at the school is very relevant to contributing to my role as Governor.

My monitoring responsibilities as a Governor include Art, PSHE and RE.

My current term of office ends in March 2024.
