Feoffmentors

The Feoffmentor Programme is a scheme to encourage local professionals, hobbyists and alumni to come into the school to give a presentation or workshop on their specialist topic.

 

So far we have had a tremendous response from some of the parents who have shared with their children's class and other classes their expertise & hobbies!

 

Its a fantastic way for the children to get curious about the wider world, and to build a connection between the school and the community of parents and local groups.

 

A Feoffmentor could be: 

1. Alumni senior school or college students giving a talk to the Year 5/6s about what to expect in higher education
2. Artists holding workshops or demonstrations.
3. Local businesses, groups or charities talking about what they do and/or providing workshops for the students to take part in.
4. Local professionals giving demonstrations and showing the students what they do for a living.
