The following will give you an idea of some of the musical events we have participated in!   Click on the Year below to see more.

2018 (so far ...)

Our two choirs meet after school each week.

The Benjamin Britten singers are a group of about 30 KS2 children. This group was formed in 2013 as we were learning songs to celebrate Benjamin Britten’s centenary. It has become very successful and is our main performance choir.

Here are the Benjamin Britten Singers performing with St Cecilia Juniors Girls' Choir at St Edmundsbury Cathedral in March 2017.  For the date of their next performance please see the Diary Dates page of our website.

Our second school choir provides the opportunity for children to have fun and explore singing and music from a wide variety of genres.  This picture shows our main choir performing in a Christmas Concert at school.

We are fortunate to have several musical members of staff who are able to enhance our music provision both within the curriculum and in after school clubs. We have a wide variety of percussion instruments including two class sets of glockenspiels.  Here are some Year 2 children playing the glockenspiels.

We also have two pianos and a digital piano, folk guitars and tenor recorders. The Friends of the Feoffment recently purchased a new sound system which will enhance the quality of music provided in the school hall.
